STARZ Performing Arts Academy
is home to several Competitive Teams, including STARZ Elite, STARZ Senior Company, STARZ
Junior Company, STARZ HipHop Company, Elite Starlets,
Starlets, STARZ “Spirit” Cheer Team, &
STARZ Acro Team. All Dance Companies are under the Direction of Gabrielle Colombo.
STARZ “Spirit” Cheer Team and Acro
Teams are under the Direction of Heather Raskosky.
Students
in STARZ Company programs have won scholarships to study at Broadway Dance
Center (NY), Steps on Broadway (NY), Millennium Dance Complex (LA), Joffrey Ballet School
(NY), and several Universities.
STARZ Competition Teams are limited to 16 members, to assure one on one instruction.
Those auditioning must have
at least one year of previous dance, gymnastics, or cheer experience, and the auditions are open to the public.
Dancers, Gymnasts, and
Cheerleaders from all Studios are welcome.
STARZ Competition Teams perform at many local functions and compete at Regional and National Competitions.
The exceptional faculty at STARZ takes
pride in offering the two Virginias the very best in dance and performing arts education.
STARZ Performing Arts Academy is now located on Blue Prince Road at the Green Valley Mini Mall in Green Valley, WV.
